Thank you for showing up to write. Thank you for showing up to draw. Thank you for putting words and images into the world when it would often be easier not to. The stories you create inspire readers, spark imagination, build empathy, and help shape the next generation of book lovers.

You are invited to submit article ideas and feature requests for Buckeye Bookmark. Whether you’re celebrating a new release, sharing a behind-the-scenes look at your creative process, promoting an upcoming project, or highlighting a literacy initiative, we’d love to hear from you. While we can’t feature every request, we will do our best to spotlight and promote the amazing work happening throughout our author and illustrator community.

At the Buckeye Book Fair, we are often told that we are one of the most welcoming book fairs in the country. While we appreciate the compliment, we know the real reason. It’s because of you. Your generosity with readers, your willingness to share your craft, and your commitment to connecting with people are what make our community so special.

Many of our most beloved participants first joined us because another author recommended the experience.
